  • ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    We are hiring a sales director to work as a contractor for a 6 months contract. 

     

    The Agency Sales Director UK will develop and lead the managed service and TV/broadcaster sales strategy and execution and will own the related revenue targets across their UK portfolio. You will operate and grow business with UK TV and video buyers and engage in a variety of tasks including executing the FreeWheel market sales strategy for TV buyers and managed service across the UK, driving the qualification, negotiation & development of opportunities, reporting to the Senior Director and Head of Demand Strategy UK and Northern Europe

     

    The Agency Sales Director UK will work closely with the Programmatic sales lead and team, the Advertiser sales lead, the Account Management team and the Supply team to drive incremental revenue opportunities. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • This role will demonstrate deep competency in TV and video demand sales strategy and a strong network with the top 5 holding groups
    • Identifies sales opportunities and able to close and upsell them, including agency agreements and preferred partnerships.
    • Able to set an accurate sales and execution strategy for managed service and TV buying clients across the UK
    • Able to work with other business units within Comcast to leverage synergies and common expansion strategy and revenue goals.
    • Owner for forecasting and reporting of revenue targets for the managed/IO business in the UK
    • Support innovation around our service delivery model and provide guidance to the service and support organizations on how to execute improvements

    ABOUT YOU

    • Familiar with the full spectrum of the UK TV and Video ecosystem. Previous experience in managing demand sales at a broadcaster or video/tv sales house is essential.
    • Cultivates, and manages high-level client relationships (e.g. C-level, VP, or Director) in major holding groups. Experience with trading agreements will be considered a must.
    • Sales leadership experience having built and executed sales teams in the UK previously will be considered a plus.
    • Experience building, delivering and selling business cases to executive level audience.
    • Be consultative, deliver clear messaging to our customers around strategy, vision, and most importantly, how our solutions can bring value to the customer.
