    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Execute management and technology consulting projects with leading media companies, pay-TV operators and online publishers
    • Gather and analyse data related to customer requirements, usage, and best practices through qualitative interviews, quantitative data analysis, and technical investigation
    • Provide hands-on guidance, problem solving, and expertise to support FreeWheel clients connecting their business needs with an appropriate technical solution
    • Become an expert in the business and technology powering the future of television, fluent in online video business models, technology, and metrics
    • Our customers are across Europe and so may require travel up to 20% of the time.

    ABOUT YOU

    • 3 - 5 years of experience with a management consulting firm, television programmer, technology company, or media agency with client facing responsibilities.
      • Understanding how the role of the audience shapes what content is purchased, the structure of how it is delivered and the surrounding commercial models for the broadcast and online video business is important along with the challenges facing both the industry, content owners and distributors.
      • Understanding the ecosystem is the foundation for being able to accurately capture our client’s business drivers, and the translation of their strategy into the tactical. Having lived it is the ideal from forecasting and selling through to delivery and its tracking.
    • Strong technical acumen and ability to quickly learn and problem solve against new technologies. Having a data-aware understanding of digital advertising, media technology, or ad-tech strongly preferred.
      • Being able to understand, perform analysis and contextualise client information is key for Advisory Services to be able to drive empirically-based decisions.
      • Experience with ad sales strategy (order management technologies), ad operations (ad servers), delivery (online video platforms) and/or audience segmentation (CRM tools) is strongly preferred.
    • Adept at simplifying complex technical concepts to be digestible by a business audience; experience working as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders
      • Qualify the client’s business, sales and operations teams and how their needs translate into the detail of execution is key for us engendering business change
    • Strong project management experience and organizational skills, with demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects and translating business requirements into actionable deliverables. A self-starter who can proactively manage yourself against a robust workload with multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines, from engagement design through execution.
      • Although part of a supportive team, ownership of your workload across multiple client’s priorities requires an effective framework and the drive to use it.
