    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    FreeWheel is hiring a Paris (or London) based Trading & Yield analyst, reporting to the Head of International Trading & Yield. This team is responsible for supporting the growth of Freewheel Demand business through three areas of activities/responsibility:

    1. Marketplace Strategy, Growth Initiatives
    2. Inventory acquisition management
    3. Inventory package management

    This function will be responsible for designing and implementing business KPI’s and dashboards, managing cross-functional strategic initiatives recommending strategic improvements to drive additional publisher and buy-side revenues, decrease costs.

    This role will require constant collaboration with many functions in the company, including BI team, Inventory Monetization specialists, and Account managers.

    It also serves as a central point of contact for shared FreeWheel corporate functions (e.g., Finance, Sales Operations) to obtain performance metrics of the Marketplace.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Detecting loss of business opportunities in the Marketplace and be proactive in finding new processes and monitoring
    • Providing recommendations on mapping, rules and taxonomy to improve clarity, quality & business efficiency
    • Design, implementation, and monitoring of KPI’s and development of dashboards to track performance of the Marketplace.
    • This includes, but is not limited to areas such as: top supply providers, non-monetized inventory, STR tech, fill rate, e-CPM... per type of supply, campaign performances, inventory acquisition agreements, ASA costs, gross margin, DSP/Trading desk/Publisher performance, media packages performances, analysis per market per vertical against top advertisers, case studies
    • Financial consolidation and performance reporting
    • Key sales operations responsibilities, including pricing analysis, and forecasting in coordination with leadership team
    • Supporting the delivery of specific revenue targets by participating in cross-functional strategic initiatives to enable increased deal and revenue flow
    • In order to be successful, this person must thoroughly understand:
      • FreeWheel’s technology, service offerings, capabilities
      • The programmatic ecosystem and how various parties involved work and interact (e.g., SSPs, Ad Servers, DSPs, Trading Desks, etc.)
      • How to extract and analyze complex and diverse data

    ABOUT YOU

    • 3+ years digital experience at a programmatic advertising company, online publisher, or media/tech focused management consultancy
    • In-depth understanding of the digital video advertising market and metrics, strong familiarity with the competitive landscape and operational models of Ad Serving Companies, Supply Side Platforms (SSPs), and Demand Side Platforms (DSPs)
    • Proven experience working with complex datasets and building tactical and executive facing dashboards, Power BI knowledge is a plus.
    • Ability to independently structure and build presentations at all levels of insight across all functions (e.g., executive level strategy, in-depth data readouts, pain-point identification)
    • Ability to connect the dots between functions, identify areas for operational improvements through quantitative analysis, and drive implementation of recommendations

    Base salary: between EUR 30k- EUR55K
