    FreeWheel Advertisers is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Delivery team as maternity cover. The team is responsible for managing all aspects of product and project delivery through the software development lifecycle, the on boarding of new clients and managing ad hoc projects that arise with the client. Our Project Managers lead these projects from Initiation to Launch/Close. Acting as key contact for the client and any strategic partners or 3rd parties involved, you will work with a cross-functional team to ensure our new clients’ initial experience with FreeWheel Advertisers is positive and goes smoothly


    • Works with internal and client stakeholders to plan and execute projects, managing critical stages from Initiation to Launch/Close
    • Track and manage task completion for the Project Team throughout the project with a focus on quality and outcome
    • Effective and timely reporting of project status and progress to management and clients
    • Maintain up to date project documentation such as the Project Plan, RAID Log and Decision Log
    • Provide close touch support for key client contacts throughout the project
    • Collect and share information, rapidly applying/sharing lessons to be learned to help us continuously improve
    • Contribute to the evolution of processes and best practices in project management
    • Collaborate with Account Management and Commercial teams to define wider processes and best practices


    • You have a delivery focus. Leading by example in your daily work to set the tone for colleagues.
    • You have experience with a focus on implementation projects and an ability to handle multiple complex, concurrent projects
    • You are flexible on your project management approach. We run projects for the benefit of the business and our clients, not to tick boxes off a theoretical project management checklist
    • You are able to define and refine processes and best practices
    • You are a natural problem solver, great communicator and value attention to detail
    • You are not afraid of getting stuck in when you’re needed to work on something a little different
    • You are open to infrequent travel within UK and around Europe if required

    It would be nice if you had...

    • Media / ad-tech industry experience
    • Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, MS Project and Confluence
    • Relevant project management qualifications / accreditations are of interest but not as much as the right attitude and personality
