We are looking for an upbeat, focused, and organized individual to join our marketing team for a 6 month internship. You would ideally start in April but we could be open to have someone start in May. 


In this role, you will be responsible for providing support for event marketing, trade shows (including the Cannes Lions & DMEXCO) and conferences, sales marketing, and assisting with outbound communication and other marketing projects.


This position is for a full-time (40+ hours per week).  Reporting to the Marketing Director, the ideal candidate will be extremely well organized, detail oriented, and flexible.  We are looking for a self-starter that will support the marketing department in a wide array of marketing initiatives. This position is based in Paris or in London.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
  • Coordinate staffing, speaker logistics, event registrations and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate with event organizers on company deliverables and sponsorship materials
  • Work with third-party vendors such as printers, promotions vendors, creative agencies, and others
  • Maintain inventory of marketing premiums and giveaways, brochures, and other collateral, and handle re-ordering process
  • Assist with sales marketing needs such as producing sales kits and presentation support
  • Assist with social media campaign execution and monitoring
  • Provide organizational and administrative support as necessary


We are looking for someone with he following attributes:

  • BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • A hunger to learn and resourceful in finding the information you need
  • Super-smart, passionate about what you do, and fired up about FreeWheel
  • Knowledge of the TV, media, and online advertising industry a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Must be a self starter, detail-oriented, and exceptionally well-organized
  • Critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills a must
  • Ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple, high-priority projects
  • Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp a plus
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with basic website content management systems such as WordPress a plus
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Marketing writing experience a plus
