ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The London-based Advisory Services Consultant will be responsible for the delivery of advisory engagements for clients and prospects. This person will be part of FreeWheel’s growing EU Advisory Services team, which is responsible for supporting premium EU publishers and distributors with practical, actionable recommendations that deliver tangible results, with one objective in mind: to make their professional digital ad business more profitable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executing consulting projects with leading media companies, pay-TV operators and online publishers
  • Working with our clients to evaluate their monetization strategy and implementation, identify new strategic opportunities and effectively design business operations
  • Analysing complex client datasets and market data to identify key trends and opportunities for optimisation
  • Working with our clients’ teams to effectively implement and make the best use of new technologies
  • Participating as a subject matter expert for company-wide data sharing and training initiatives
  • Working with FreeWheel Sales, Engineering and Product teams to deliver recommendations that wrap around our core technology offerings

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience working in consulting, media, communications or digital technology industries
  • A passion for working with clients who are constantly innovating their business models in order to identify and define new strategic directions
  • An interest in the balance of business needs, operational effectiveness and technical feasibility in the Advertising industry
  • Have the ability to structure an in depth business investigation of the client’s needs using both qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Have a good understanding of data, and data-driven analysis methods
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Ability to independently structure, build and deliver presentations both internally and to clients
  • Experience in project management, with demonstrated ability to execute and manage projects from start to finish
  • Ability to handle a robust workload with multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines, whilst managing expectations with internal teams and clients
  • Self-starter with proven ability to quickly and independently learn new concepts and frameworks
  • Have general technical acumen. Exposure to online video technology is an added bonus
  • General understanding and passion for online video and TV advertising 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold a BA/BS degree
  • Open to travel (up to 20%)
